While our pre-season schedule continues through July with a trip to the USA as well as encounters with Lazio and Valencia, we open the new Premier League campaign at Newcastle Utd on August 12, with that kick-off already confirmed following the release of the fixture schedule last month.
However, several additional changes have now been made by the Premier League, with Villa impacted not only due to games being shown live, but also with our Europa Conference League play-off round fixtures in mind at the end of August too.
As per the club’s statement, our meetings with Everton, Burnley, Liverpool and Brighton have all been rescheduled, with our new-look fixture list now shown in full below for August and September.

Particularly with the players now back, the excitement is building over the new season as we look to build on the brilliant progress seen under Emery following his appointment last November.
A positive start will be key to build early momentum, but we’ll need to find the balance with our European commitments in mind too and so it remains to be seen how many further signings arrive between now and then to strengthen the group.
Villa have already announced the addition of Youri Tielemans on a free transfer with Pau Torres expected to complete his move from Villarreal next week, but further reinforcements are likely, as are outgoings too as Emery moulds the squad into his own and one that can compete on multiple fronts this year.
