Aston Villa’s Premier League 2024/25 fixture list confirmed

Aston Villa’s fixture list for the 2024/25 Premier League season has been confirmed, as we start the new campaign with a trip to West Ham Utd on August 17.

After finishing in fourth place last season to secure qualification for the Champions League, Unai Emery and his players will be hoping to build on that brilliant effort and solidify our position in the top four moving forward.

Naturally, it won’t be easy given the quality and level of competition in the English top flight, but as we hope to see the squad strengthened over the course of the summer, excitement will undoubtedly build as we edge closer to the start of a new season.

It’s a difficult first assignment for Villa as we travel to West Ham on the opening weekend, with our season opener live on Sky Sports with a 17:30 KO.

The following weekend will see us play our first home game of the campaign as Arsenal visit Villa Park, while it’s a trip to newly-promoted Leicester City to round off August.

Our season finale will see us travel to Old Trafford to face Man Utd, and it promises to be another enthralling campaign from start to finish as we look to enjoy further progression and success.

Villa’s pre-season schedule gets underway on July 17 against Walsall, and we’ll do the bulk of our preparation work during the trip to the USA before facing the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Athletic Bilbao before our competitive games begin.

It’s hoped that we’re able to avoid any injuries over that period and get the entire squad fully fit and match ready, and of course, it would be ideal to start the new year with three points at West Ham, as we look to set the tone for what’s to come in the rest of the season.

The Hammers will be looking to make a positive start themselves under new boss Jules Lopetegui, and so it promises to be a fascinating encounter, one that hopefully sees us start positively.
