Villa unveil new home kit for 2024/25 season as Adidas partnership begins

Aston Villa have unveiled our new home kit for the 2024/25 season, as it starts our multi-year partnership with Adidas, and has a number of new features to mark a special landmark year for the club.

There has been significant interest and anticipation over the new kit since the announcement was made that Villa had agreed a multi-year partnership with the manufacturing giants at the end of last season.

Coupled with a new front-of-shirt sponsor in Betano, as well as a sleeve sponsor in Trade Nation, and also the special ‘AV 150’ symbol on the back of the jersey to celebrate our 150th anniversary, the new kit is undoubtedly going to be a hit with supporters.

“We are immensely proud to unveil our new playing kit which marks the start of not only a landmark partnership with one of the world’s most recognisable sports brands but an historic year for our football club,” President of Business Operations, Chris Heck, told the club’s official site.

“The new jerseys feature the latest adidas technology and have been developed in close collaboration with Aston Villa’s men’s and women’s teams.”

While the new kit goes on sale for fans to purchase on Tuesday, we’ll see the players wear it from the first time when we face Columbus Crew in the first game of our USA pre-season tour on July 27.

It’s hoped that not only is it a better look and feel for the players compared to our kits with Castore last season, but Heck has emphasised the importance of these deals in terms of raising revenue and building our global standing as we look to become stronger on and off the pitch.

Linking up with Adidas is undoubtedly a big deal for us from a brand perspective, but from a financial perspective too, it will hopefully have a significant impact in the coming years as we look to match our progress and achievements from a sporting side of things under Unai Emery and the players.
