Aston Villa host Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, and Unai Emery has named his starting line-up for the encounter.
Having got back to winning ways in midweek after seeing off Bologna in the Europa League, Villa will be looking to now build some form and momentum after a difficult start to the season.

It certainly won’t be straight-forward against a talented Fulham side, and so having failed to entirely convince on Thursday night, we’ll need to raise our performance level again this weekend to ensure that we stay on the right path.
Youri Tielemans, Amadou Onana and Ross Barkley were all ruled out by Emery in his pre-match press conference on Friday, but there was hope that Emiliano Martinez would recover from a small injury to take his place between the posts again, albeit Marco Bizot once more impressed in his absence.
As per the club’s post below, Villa have made six changes to the side that defeated Bologna, with Martinez returning from his injury setback to take his place in the side again.
Tyrone Mings, Lucas Digne, Lamare Bogarde, Harvey Elliott and Ollie Watkins replace Pau Torres, Ian Maatsen, Boubacar Kamara, Emiliano Buendia and Donyell Malen respectively, and so it’s a strong Villa XI with plenty of depth on the bench to influence the game if needed.
It’s certainly hoped that with Emery continuing to show faith in individuals like Morgan Rogers and Watkins who have struggled for form so far this season, that this is the game that they’re able to rediscover their spark and get going after a tough start to the campaign.
Hopefully, the win on Thursday night was the starting point to turn things around, and we’re now able to build on that and put together a positive run of results prior to the upcoming international break.
