Emiliano Buendia sent a message to the Aston Villa faithful on Wednesday as he prepares to begin life with the club after he returns from International duty this summer.
As reported by BBC Sport, the 24-year-old joined us in a deal worth around £33m earlier this month, and in the process became the club’s record signing.

Further, he put pen to paper on a five-year contract, and will no doubt harbour hopes of leading the charge in our bid to start competing at the top level in the coming years.
Buendia bagged 15 goals and 17 assists in 41 appearances last season for Norwich City, and so he’ll hope he can build on that and pick up from where he left off once he pulls on the Villa shirt next season.
Given he has been with the Argentina squad this summer for their Copa America preparations and World Cup qualifying campaign, he hasn’t had a traditional unveiling as a Villa player just yet.
In turn, he took the opportunity to send a message to the club’s fans this week, as seen in his tweet below, as Villa look forward to welcoming him to Bodymoor Heath at some stage next month to begin pre-season training and to start adapting and settling into his new surroundings.
Dean Smith will be delighted to have bolstered his attacking options significantly with the acquisition of Buendia, and he’ll no doubt be itching to get the opportunity to work with him at the training ground and begin the process of integrating him into his plans and starting line-up ahead of the new campaign.
