Speculation over Jack Grealish’s future at Aston Villa continues to produce talk of an exit, but that is reportedly not part of the club’s thinking this summer.
The 25-year-old continued to impress last season despite injury troubles, as he scored seven goals and provided 12 assists in 27 appearances for Dean Smith’s side.

As he waits for an opportunity to impress at Euro 2020 this summer, rumours over his club future continue to caste doubt over his time at Villa, but it would appear that the club have absolutely no intention of parting ways with our influential captain in the coming months.
As reported by BirminghamLive, despite speculation suggesting otherwise, there have been no bids for Grealish to date and Villa have never placed a valuation on him for their rivals to meet.
Further, it’s added that there is no intention from the ownership or management to sell Grealish this summer, and the plan for Villa is to continue to build and improve the squad in the transfer window to push on next season and shorten the gap between ourselves and the clubs above us in the Premier League table last year.
Naturally, that is what every Villa fan wants to hear, and it’s hoped that it is an accurate insight into the strategy and stance of the club moving forward.
Having already splashed out a club-record fee for Emiliano Buendia this summer coupled with the return of Ashley Young, Smith will be hoping to add further reinforcements to his squad in the coming weeks to ensure we continue to become a more competitive outfit capable of challenging those at the top end of the standings.
Grealish will undoubtedly play a fundamental role in helping us do that, and so it’s hoped that once he has returned from international duty and reports for pre-season training with Villa, he’s ready to lead us next season and beyond and will be able to put any transfer speculation over his future behind him.
