Aston Villa have unveiled the new home kit for the 2021/22 season, with Kappa and Cazoo continuing as the club’s manufacturer and principal sponsor respectively.
With our pre-season schedule getting underway a week today away at Walsall, it isn’t long before the new Premier League campaign begins either as we travel to Watford on August 14.

In turn, while the players and coaching staff are busy preparing for the year ahead at Bodymoor Heath this week, there was news from the club as they finally unveiled the new home kit for the upcoming season.
As seen in the images below, much is as expected in terms of Kappa, Cazoo and the claret and blue presence, but Villa have gone for a striped edition this time round.

Naturally as with any kit launch it will likely split opinion, but provided the players produce on the pitch, that is ultimately all that matters.
Fans will undoubtedly have noticed Jack Grealish’s presence in the promotional video, and amid ongoing, and seemingly never-ending, speculation over our captain’s future, it remains to be seen whether or not that is a clear sign that he will still be with us when the season starts.
On one hand, it could be a major indication that he will be as it would be a questionable decision for the club to use him in the promo only to give us false hope if he moves on, but on the other hand it may be part of the club knowing that our skipper is going to be leading our charge for another year.
Time will tell how that particular situation plays out, but for now, Villa fans have a home kit to purchase as we look forward to seeing the players return to action in a week’s time.
