Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Leeds Utd midfielder Tyler Adams, who is said to be high on our list of transfer targets this summer.
The 24-year-old joined Leeds from RB Leipzig last July and went on to make 26 appearances for the club, while he also has 36 USA caps to his name.

A hamstring injury sidelined him from mid-March, but prior to that, there was a lot to like about Adams in terms of his performances for club and country last year.
With his tenacity and combative style in the defensive midfield role or the versatility to play on the right side if needed too, his high-energy and committed performances have seemingly caught the eye of Unai Emery.
According to The Athletic, Villa are interested in the USA international and he has been ‘tracked for some time’. It’s suggested that he is a top target for us as we eye a second midfield signing this summer, and while talks have begun, we do face competition.
Youri Tielemans will officially join us on a free transfer on July 1, but with further progression in the Premier League as well as strong showings in the cup competitions and the Europa Conference League on our list of targets for next season, Emery will feel as though he needs more competition and depth to raise the level within the squad.
Adams could provide the Villa boss with a solution to compete with the likes of Boubacar Kamara and John McGinn, while the report above adds that we’re looking to move both Morgan Sanson and Marvelous Nakamba on this summer after their successful loan stints elsewhere in the second half of last season, while we’ll also listen to offers for Leander Dendoncker.
It remains to be seen how the situation plays out, but it certainly sounds as though there will be a bigger reshuffle in midfield, and that will hopefully continue to push Kamara, McGinn, Douglas Luiz and Jacob Ramsey on to keep improving and fight to keep their respective places in the Villa XI.
