Aston Villa have been paired with an interest in two more attacking players in Lukas Nmecha and Joshua King in the summer transfer window.
As per the club’s official site, we’ve reached an agreement with Norwich City to sign Emiliano Buendia, who will undoubtedly be our marquee attacking signing this summer.

However, as we try to continue to improve the squad and build one capable of competing at the top level as we hope to break into the European qualification spots next season, Dean Smith will be hoping to add more reinforcements between now and the start of the new campaign.
Villa touted as destination for Nmecha
According to BirminghamLive, Man City striker Nmecha is a possible transfer target, with the 22-year-old scoring 21 goals in 41 games during his loan spell with Anderlecht last season.
On top of that, he starred at the U21s European Championship over the past few weeks, earning the top goalscorer award at the tournament while finding the back of the net in the Final.
Villa have been specifically named by Belgian football expert Filip Joos as a potential landing spot for Nmecha on his natural career progression path, but time will tell if we see him as a genuine option to improve the current squad.
King linked with Villa move
Meanwhile, VG report that Villa are keen on King, with the 29-year-old available as a free agent after leaving Everton.
Norwich and Celtic are both said to be interested too and so we would face competition if our interest is genuine, with the Norwegian international likely to be seen as depth up front.
King managed just three goals and two assists in 25 appearances last season, with all of his goal contributions coming in the FA Cup, and so similarly to Nmecha, it remains to be seen if Villa and Smith see him as an option to strengthen the squad.
