Aston Villa’s pre-season schedule is set and supporters will have the opportunity to watch all five games through VillaTV.
The pandemic has unsurprisingly impacted the club’s plans this summer, as the squad have tended to travel abroad for training and games for a number of years now.

However, Dean Smith and the players will be staying in England this time round as the schedule has been announced along with kick-off times and where those games will be played.
As seen in the tweet below, Villa will take on Walsall, Stoke City, Nottingham Forest, Bristol City and Sevilla ahead of the Premier League opener against Watford on August 14, with all-but one of those encounters being played away from Villa Park.
While it remains unclear as to how many tickets will be allocated and the protocols still involved heading into a new season, Villa have announced that all five games will be available for fans to watch through VillaTV.
With three different packages, fans can choose to watch single games or all five along with a subscription to VillaTV beyond the schedule, and so we won’t have to miss a minute of the action.
Naturally, all eyes will be on new signings Emiliano Buendia and Ashley Young as well as any other recruits in the coming weeks, but it will be fascinating to take a closer look at the entire squad and perhaps some of the youngsters too in order to get a better idea of how Smith will integrate any of them if they impress.
